yet more research on mobiles throws up the new C902 from Sony Ericsson. Decent camera, musicks etc.

*dithers*

gah, still need to sort out K's mobile contract too - Orange didn't put her on the new (cheaper) contract when I upgraded her phone (it's on my account) and are denying that they've actuallly upgraded it at all! Despite me having the handset and delivery note etc etc.

Did you ring them up and register the new SIM that came with the new 'phone? I thought I would just transfer my old one into my new 'phone, but apparently I had to have a new one. Good old Orange. Still, my bill should now be about half what it was, and I've got a shiny new 'phone free, gratis and for nothing. (It's a Nokia 6500s, btw)

yup, had to call and register the new SIM as it was a contract sim rather than a PAYG sim.

I need to make notes of when I placed the order and when I called up, then I can phone back and rant at them.

I also had a play with a blackberry Pearl 8120 in the Orange shop at lunchtime and it's very lovely. Slightly wider than my K800i, but the same length and much slimmer. Camera is only 2MP though, which still bothers me slightly, but I think I'd get a lot of use from the email/browsing on it.
