Blogging birthday

In that time I've posted 10,354 journal entries, posted 34,937 comments and received 62,511 comments.
Crikey. If you add in the blog posts & stuff on espressococo, I must be north of 11 thousand blog posts.

books, books and more books
Feb. 2nd, 2017 08:51 pmI decided that I needed to take control of my TBR pile the other day, both physical and virtual, so spent a merry hour exporting a list of books on my Kindle then wandering around the house taking photos of piles of books.
Currently I've got 66 review copies of books - 42 hard copy/ARCs, 21 on my NetGalley shelf, and 3 other ebooks sent by lovely publishers (*waves at Karen from Orenda*)
On top of that, I've got 96 of my own purchased books: 25 in hard copy and 71 on kindle. Crikey. I knew I was a sucker for the 99p kindle sales but that's just silly.
So, job for February: Finish the currently reading list. Crack into the NetGalley TBR pile.
Some of the review copies were agreed with publishers, but increasingly they just turn up. It's a lovely problem to have, I must say, but does feel overwhelming at times.
Right. Best get reading!

Sep. 24th, 2013 12:02 amAnyone doing NaNoWriMo this year? I genuinely can't decide. I 'won' in 2011, and the printed copy is sat in a folder on my desk, glaring at me. It's the last piece of fiction I've written. I think NaNo broke my mojo.
Or I've just been busy/lazy/other.
Do I do NaNo2013 and rediscover my writing? Or not.
Time, as usual, will tell.
Anyway, I hope you're all well. I notice one or two of you have wandered off, or removed me from your list of journals you follow. Fair enough, I've been gone a while.
