I decided that I needed to take control of my TBR pile the other day, both physical and virtual, so spent a merry hour exporting a list of books on my Kindle then wandering around the house taking photos of piles of books.

Currently I've got 66 review copies of books - 42 hard copy/ARCs, 21 on my NetGalley shelf, and 3 other ebooks sent by lovely publishers (*waves at Karen from Orenda*)

On top of that,  I've got 96 of my own purchased books: 25 in hard copy and 71 on kindle. Crikey. I knew I was a sucker for the 99p kindle sales but that's just silly.

So, job for February: Finish the currently reading list. Crack into the NetGalley TBR pile.

Some of the review copies were agreed with publishers, but increasingly they just turn up. It's a lovely problem to have, I must say, but does feel overwhelming at times.

Right. Best get reading!

I haven't stopped to count the number of books on my kindle but I do know the heady feeling of just getting a book, magically, delivered to my very own other-dimensional library. ... it's the literary equivalent of the old D&D bag of holding. A small space that can hold an unlimited amount of stuff. Also I'm seriously running out of space in this dimension. But the actual reading of said magical pan dimensional books? Who's got time for that?
Now TIME... how can we bank THAT in our magic kindles?
