That's the actress Emily O'Brien who plays Jana Hawkes Fisher on the VERY popular soap opera "The Young and the Restless". It's weird to hear her not doing a British accent though!

I had to go look it up because it was bugging me so much, but yes, she was born in England but has lived in the US since she was 10.

This is a pretty neat deal with the animation. Very cool!

Cool stuff. They solve the "Uncanny Valley" problem by using an actor as a source for the full model, not just a wireframe. The micromovements of a live person can be captured, as well as lighting.

Yes, but what's the point. If the animation is indistinguishable from a real actor, why not just hire the actor? Wouldn't that be both quicker and cheaper?
