pc update

well, I'm posting this from it.

:-)

built, configured, installed XP, on the net, all in about 3 hours.

and 30 minutes of that was on the phone to my mate Andy.

:-)

hard drive is a *little* noisy, and the dvd drive sounds like it's trying to take off, but it works!
