Feb. 19th, 2010 09:59 pmslightly hacked off to discover it wasn't the HD in my PC making the t-t-t-t-t noise, it's the PSU fan.
*headdesk*
Still, I've now got two fully working drives, one slightly noisy one (which rattles if you shake it, so that's going back to Seagate) and a zippyfast installation of Windows XP.
