It's a nice little manor house, with the 'official' apple tree in the garden. Good little science centre too with some interactive stuff for the kids - don't plan on spending too long there though, as there's not a huge amount to see or do. Good fun though, and worth a visit if you're in the area.

Belton House, Lincolnshire.
We had a great day out here - lots to see and do. Fabulous house (which allows photography inside, unlike 99% of other National Trust places I've been to), nice gardens, and an Easter Trail for the kids, which kept them amused for ages!
