Jul. 1st, 2010 10:21 pmpotato glut sorted. The delicious-looking mini new potatoes have a bitter aftertaste. Well, some of them do. And you can't really have a plate of delicious-looking new potatoes where some of them are a bit rank.
in other news, I finally turned my D50 into a pinhole camera by drilling a hole in a body cap, taping some tinfoil over it and poking it with the acupuncture needle I kept from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nalsa's pinhole camera workshop at Photocamp.
Worked astonishingly well - I took one shot at a 30s exposure and it came out reasonably clear. Then the battery died and I had other stuff to do, but I shall tinker with it over the weekend and post the results.
