I quite enjoyed it, overall. Nothing spectacular, but ok. I was listening to the Audible unabridged audiobook - my monthly subscription sees me through the daily 40 minute each way commute.
The prose was a bit... flat in places. Lots of fairly bland description. But the story was entertaining enough. Amused by how much coffee everyone seemed to drink - every couple of pages someone would get the coffee cups out.
And I thought that I drank a lot of the stuff.
I might try the next book in the series when my subscription rolls over
