Jul. 13th, 2011 11:50 pmI'm toying with an idea for a project. I've just started playing with Audioboo - you can record up to 5 minutes of audio and upload to the site as a 'boo'. All well & good.
But then I found @sc_r's website in which he records 60 seconds of ambient noise or something specific - dot matrix printers and the like, and it gave me the idea to do an audio record of places around Leeds - coffee machines at Bottega, the hubub at the train station and so on.
Sounds like fun (sorry) - couple of others on Google+ liked the idea, Griff set up a collaborative map where we can post links to our Leeds Boos, and we're up and running.
Still at the formative stage at the moment. Anyone else want to join in?
