Lots of stuff going on at the moment, some of which is exciting, some of which is dull, all of which is taking up entirely too much time.
However, big News Of the Day is that I *finally* beat the local fauna to my cherry tree. We've had the tree for 8 years or so, and every year there's a crop of a couple of dozen cherries (it's a v.small pot-bound tree about six feet tall), and EVERY YEAR the critters wait until the cherries are juuuuust turning red and promptly devour the lot.
NOT THIS YEAR, CREATURES OF WAKEFIELD.
This year, I was ready with copious amounts of netting. And those cherries are MINE.
Well, that is if I can keep LB away from them. Seriously, that girl is part squirrel.
