I don't mind sadism in cartoons/children's fare, per se. But there has to be -something- else present, as well. I never saw anything in the T&J cartoons to enjoy.

Case in point -- wit & charm in abundance! The Warner Bros. cartoons were, in great part, FULL of redeeming qualities. They weren't solely mean spirited things.
