movies of 2009
Mar. 29th, 2009 10:13 pmSiu lam juk kau, or Shaolin Soccer
One of the guys at work loaned me the DVD of this, after a discussion of martial arts movies, and me telling him how bonkersly wondeful Kung Fu Hustle is. Both films star Steven Chow, who is ace!
IMDb's summary of Shaolin Soccer:
A young Shaolin follower reunites with his discouraged brothers to form a soccer team using their martial art skills to their advantage.
They're forgetting the laughs, the singing and the love story.
And Team Evil!
BWAAAHAHAHAHA.
This film is a riot. If you like daft martial arts movies, check it out. Then get Kung Fu Hustle.
