oh, question for you artist types - when using a drawing tablet attached to a PC, what art package do you use?

I bought ArtRage2 for the Beans, which is all fun and stuff, but wondering what you lot use. Photoshop? Something else?

answers onna postcard pls.

I use potatoshop, which is just like photoshop but involves someone loosing the wacom pen down the back of the sofa.

If I was going to do serious drawing I'd get illustrator.

We use Photoshop, now downgraded to Photoshop Elements since I lost my big shiny version installer :}

I use Photoshop Elements. I don't do a ton of coloring, which is what things like Painter are good for (I hear... I'm not even sure where you'd GET Painter, though) but I'm perfectly happy with the kind of pencil/pen-like effect I get.

I have used Photoshop from day one but it is not user friendly, could use Office Suite Picture Draw

I use mine for photo editing, so I use it with Photoshop CS3 (may upgrade to CS4 at some point). But for real drawing, you'd probably want Illustrator.

It really depends on what you're going to use it for.

I'm not sure what I would be doing would in any way be considered 'serious'. More doodling.

We use ArtRage for making easy style peices, then Photoshop for more serious interface elements.

Both are great...and fun with the Wacom
