we stripped the seeds off the sunflower head, washed and roasted them. Delicious!

The heads on our sunflowers are only about 1" so far. I'm hoping they are going to get a big bigger. Also our tomatoes have yet to go red. Damm. I fail at gardening.

the petals had mostly fallen off - we pulled the sides off to get to the seeds.

we had varying success - that one was about 6" across, but most others were only about 1-2"
