No sympathy for the people deliberately trying to jump out from in front of trains at the last minute, and not much for the twits that forgot that trains are much faster than they look.

I was once late for a job because a long train was blocking the road just south of the factory I was working at (temp summer work) from 10 minutes before shift start until 5 minutes after. The supervisor told those of us who were late that we should have done what she did, which was to park on the other side of the tracks and climb under the stationary train. Er...no thanks. I didn't need a temp min-wage job THAT badly.
