so, that's work done.

Feels really weird knowing I won't be going back. Oddly, had a tear in my eye as I hit the M18, but that soon went.

I missed saying goodbye to a couple of people as they were in meetings, but I'm sure I'll see one or two of them again at some point.

They got me a rather nice bottle of shiraz, and a £15 amazon gift certificate, so I shall amuse myself by perusing amazon this evening, supping my wine.

ooh, question. If *you* had fifteen quid to spend on Amazon, what would you buy? What book/dvd/cd would you recommend?

I'm really quite tempted by one of these

It's Black Friday all this week.

THIS by Ray Vukcevich. I just got my copy in the mail today! I can vouch for his previous collection, Meet Me In the Moon Room, as well.

I am recommending to everyone: awesome young-adult steampunk series ... Scott Westerfeld's Leviathon and brand new sequel Behemoth (still in hardback). #3 next October.

I've just been given a Jasper Fforde book about dragons, I think it's really meant for children :p
