Someone posted this on abandonedplaces earlier, and my jaw dropped in wonder at the pictures they got, and the state the place has been left in. It's almost impossible to get in there - even with the connections I had in my Underground days, I never managed to crack this one. I'm so jealous.
I've read about this line a few times and remember seeing some photos in an old book.
I also remember seeing mailbags being sent down in a small lift on one of the platforms on Liverpool Street station when I was younger. I assume they were going down to this line.
