I think Lie To Me is my new favourite slightly bonkers US TV show.

Tim Roth is fabulous.


In other news, finally got round to watching season 5 of The Wire.

Oh. My. Word. I'd forgotten just how bloody brilliant (and bloody) it is. McNulty is a crazy-assed crazy dude. The Bunk is... The Bunk. And Omar! Snoop! Prop Joe...

One more episode to watch, then it's over. Brilliant, brilliant telly. Nothing else has come close to sucking up my attention like The Wire has done. K and I would mainline three, four episodes a night in the first couple of seasons, and it just kept getting better and better.

I saw the first two seasons of The Wire, and I need to get around to seeing the rest. So well done.

And Lie To Me is too much fun to watch. Of course, when I watch it, I try to learn from it. I want to be Tim Roth's character when I grow up.

Lie To Me makes me freaking giggle. There are times when I have to remind myself it's fiction, because there is no way life could be that entertaining without heavy scripting.

And Tim Roth is a hot divorcee dad. *nodnod* And his on-screen-daughter was cast spot on, yeah?
