dakegra | EB, master photographer

EB has been borrowing my D50 recently - he's often discovered wandering around the house taking photos of stuff. I went to check and he's taken about 150 in the past couple of days. I think I'll upload some to flickr, but which to choose? Some are brilliant, some are... EB taking photos of stuff he likes. There's a wonderful pair of him holding LB's two 'nugglies at arm's length which cry out for the caption "... or the 'nuggly gets it!"

Hmmm. He's got a good eye on him, that kid.

Let him chose? Give him a nice round number. The rest can go on a CD if he's really attached. It would teach him to chose his targets more careful so as to produce more desirable results.

I'm so impressed you let him use the D50! When I was that age, I had to resort to swiping my sister's camera and using up her film and flash bulbs (yes, I'm old!) And then, when I got caught, I got my butt beat! Didn't deter me from doing it again though! Although, my mom did think it was kinda funny.

I still have a copy of the first photo I ever took. It's a shot of a glass oil lamp done in the Stars and Stripes on the base that was sitting in the window of the bedroom I shared with my 2 sisters.

He's shown that he can be really careful with it, and to be honest, it's built like a brick. He'd have to go some to damage it, I think.

I'm going to show him his photos tonight so we can see which ones he likes or not - some have come out blurred or wonky, so it'll be fun to help him work out where he can improve.

Do put them up :) Mine can both take v good photos, even Holly, it amazes me. Ilove to see what interests them too. Holly takes lots of the washing basket & the kitchen bin etc, but they are down at her level.
