Sep. 22nd, 2008 11:41 pmuploading a zillion podcasts onto my mp3 player, on the basis that I'll not listen to them here at home, and can't download them at work, but want to listen to them whilst at work.
which makes sense to me. Lots of choice there, including some new ones. Including the Instant Classic podcast.
:-)
what podcasts might I be missing out on? Which are on your must-listen list?
pkdan, when are you doing another Caffeineland?

Date: 2008-09-27 02:06 pm (UTC)I avoid the serious ones and go for Ante up, which is basically 2 Journalist types in the US who happen to like poker. Bit like a chat between mates
And for the GB stuff there is "on the rail" Which is slightly more serious but still very entertaining.
Start with show 13. As one of the presenters ended up being interviewed as she had made it into day 4 of the world series of poker, cashing for over $40 K
2 years ago she didn't know how to play. Also has an interview with Steve Davis the snooker player.
The whole show is a testament to people getting out there and doing something that they enjoy, the excitement in their voices is almost tangible. The actual game is secondary.
Both podcasts are on itunes
