Meh. 66 is far too young for anyone to die in this day and age, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends, but I'm afraid the whole technophobic "wur doomed! Doomed ah tell ye!" thing got old for me about the point I finished Andromeda Strain. A good writer, but for my money it's a shame he didn't cast his vision a bit wider...
