washing machine update: simple matter of connecting existing hose to cold inlet of new machine and opening the cold water valve.

The hot feed is switched off, and will no doubt be checked, regularly.

*smug*

K refused to pay me the installation charge though! I shall be speaking to my lawyer.

Oh, wait. She *is* my lawyer.

As we found out last year, Currys only refund £6 for failure to install, so don't be trying to get the £25 fee, as she'll have you for extortion.

Oh yeah, the hot feed, which I checked, erm, once? Maybe I should check agian.

I work on the basis that if the hot feed had a problem, I'd know soon enough as the kitchen floor would be wet. :-)

I think our installation fee was only 8 quid anyway. K is on the case.

Ah, you see with us, we'd know if John's kitchen ceiling was wet, and he might not like that, not twice in one year anyway. Good job he likes us. Quite surprising he does as we made it rain in his kitchen this year, and in his bathroom last year.
