Many years ago, I took a slew of workshops with some local photographers. They became good friends. I was at the home of one of them and he was letting me look through some of his older work. I came across one that was a black and white photo. The wall was pale, probably white. Scrawled across it in large letters and underlined, was the word "No". There was something about it that I immediately felt completely connected to it. He was thrilled that I saw in it what he did and gave it to me.
I framed it, and it stayed on the wall in my stepdaughter's room from the time she was 15 until she was 18. It was a fun joke between us, just a reminder to her on what the answer was probably going to be when she wanted to do something dumb. It's now on one of my many photo shelves in my living room.
I love that I get a smile every time I look at it. This one gives me a very similar feeling.
