As I may have mentioned previously, I appear to have talked myself into running a session at Photocamp.

Erk. Fear is good for the soul, I hear.

Anyhoo, my session will be a fun one on recreating 'classic' photos, but I need some suggestions. I'm hoping we can scrounge some wigs and props.

Help?

[edit] there is, of course, the now-classic-in-its-own-right Classics in Lego set by Balakov for inspiration.

or, classic movie scenes - the shower scene from Psycho, Here's Johnny from The Shining

I love the old movies idea - Hitchcockian imagery, that sort of thing. Need specific examples to wave at people though.

Hmm. Where can we get a biplane?

You could use one of those Styrofoam kit things.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm wandering off-topic a bit. It started out as a homage to the 7 photos that changed fashion, and re-imagining classic photos. But it's moved on to movies.

Hmm.
