swim tonight: 500 metres.

Not as much as I'd like, but the pool is only 12.5m long, so that's 40 lengths, which is quite sufficient.

I also discovered that it's easier to keep track of how far you've gone by counting in metres, rather than in number of lengths - the mere process of having to add 12.5 to your total every time you turn seems to make it stick better.

So, quite pleased. Especially as my legs ache after last night's run.

I can't swim in a pool that short - the constant turning drives me crazy.
