bah. Internet Explorer updated to IE8, and now it won't work. Just get an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error, and the offer to diagnose connection problems.

Of which there aren't any, cos Firefox works just fine.

K likes using IE though.

What in the name of all that is pink and fluffy made you let IE update itself to IE8? Terrible idea (well, you know that now, of course...). I've forbidden my computer to download that particular update.

IE is the epitome of evil. I'm stuck with it at work, but I can't remember the last time I used it at home. Well, I can't remember when it was, but I can remember what it was - it was downloading a Microsoft patch that wouldn't download on any other browser!
