we found this fantastic place on the way to Glen Shiel - hundreds and hundreds of little rock cairns. I'd got out of the car to take a photo of the view before I noticed that I was surrounded by them!
The one time I went to the UK was in the summer of 2001, and it was JUST before I learned enough things to really appreciate it. We did go to Scotland, and it was wonderful, but the tour wasn't organized the way I would've liked. Too much shopping.
