Jan. 8th, 2010 09:31 pmlooking at upgrading my mobile phone. The Blackberry is ok, but clunky and with terrible reception.
On offer is the HTC Tattoo - the HTC Hero's cheaper cousin. I'd love the Hero, but it would cost me £150 on top of the contract, whereas the Tattoo is free. Both run Google's Android OS, which looks like fun.
I had considered the iPhone too, but again, cost was a serious factor. Orange offer a free iPhone with contracts of £30/month or more, but not the 3GS model
Anyone out there got an HTC phone?

Date: 2010-01-09 03:41 pm (UTC)They can be a very, very mixed bag. The TyTN II was a great phone, probably the best I've ever used. I got an upgrade to a Touch Pro, which turned out to be terrible, so I went back to the TyTN II, which is now quite old but does everything beautifully. As I write, it's acting as a wireless router for my Eee. Joy. :)
If you've got a good HTC phone, you'll love it. Just make sure it's what you want before you get it and try it out first if you can.
