I remember our head-to-head battle in the 1994 Extreme Ironing Contest. The sport hadn't been invented yet, of course, so we were the only participants, but nevertheless we duked it out on a makeshift trapeze halfway up the north face of the Matterhorn. In the end the judges went for your spats over my crinoline by the slenderest of margins - just half a vote.
