only a couple of days to go until little bro's stag do in deepest darkest welsh wales, which will consist of gorge scrambling, a bunk barn with 11 9 blokes*, significant quantities of beer and an almighty hangover**

Hmm.

what does one wear under a wetsuit when gorge scrambling in deepest darkest welsh wales? I'm thinking of my swimming shorts and a t-shirt, unless any of you clever lot have any better suggsetions?




* my cousin and his son are currently stuck in Malaysia due to the volcano
** if we do it properly, obv.

Given you're in deepest darkest Wales, I might suggest 'fleece,' or possibly 'another wetsuit.'

Though seriously, from snorkeling experience I would say shorts are okay, but you can probably skip the t-shirt if you aren't planning to peel off during lunch or whatever. It'll end up not sitting right somewhere and you won't be able to fix it.

You'd be comfiest with close fitting lycra shorts than big daddy swimming shorts which will bunch up something terrible, and there won't be a damn thing you can do about it whilst you're out there. Likewise a close fitting lycra top will prevent you getting rubbed in the wrong places (nipple rash, for example) better than a cotton tee which will also move about under the suit. And take a couple of carrier bags with you to put over your feet to allow you to get the wetsuit over your legs, the plastic bags will make it easier to slide down.
