oh great and all-knowing LJ hiveMind*

A while back, EB made a stop-motion animation using my D50 and an assortment of his toys. I'm looking for an app which will let me put them together into an animation.

Picasa lets you make a video out of individual stills, but the shortest gap between frames is something daft like a second - fine for a slideshow, but not for a mini-movie.

Anyone got any suggestions? I think Windows 7 comes with something, but I'm still on XP at home. Free would be good.

* I initially mistyped that as jiveMind. Dance, LJ, dance!

Try Bink: http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm (the first link on that page) which can stitch together jpegs and export it all as an AVI, mov or it's own proprietary format. May or may not work, but I've used it in the past when animating Terragen flythroughs.
