The reason you love the bottom pair is because the arch of the top of each lens perfectly mimics the arch of the underside of your eyebrows, meaning they look as if they are part of the architecture of your face.

The top set of specs have a line that fights with your brows, and loses. You don't need to spend £200 on specs, but you do need to find a pair that have that arched line, because it really looks handsome.

I'm really into eyebrows. If you get them right, the rest of your face doesn't really matter, because it's the brows that express aggression, open-ness and how relaxed or tense you are. Those first specs make you look quite aggressive because their straight top emphasises the strong "V" shape of your brows, and their thin frame emphasizes the heaviness of the brows; whereas the slightly curved second set soften the "V" and their thickness works better with the thickness of your brows, so they give you a very kind look.

This is what you get for making friends with someone who is really into eyebrows.

Agrees with Chiller. With the first pair they seem to float above your nose. Might be good to look at non-black frames though. Love them to bits but they can look very dominating depending on face shape and skin shade.

I've owned two pairs of CKs (my current regulars are CKs). Build quality has been *excellent*, really top-notch. Worth every penny.

As (was it you?) was pointed out - you're wearing the buggers everyday. Although I think yours are for close stuff (inferred from above), where as mine are for *everything*.

I just loved them from the moment I put them on. My argument was that I'll be wearing them at work, on on the PC, neither time when K is around to see me with them on.

Still, 200 notes. Ouch. Opinion is quite... mixed.

Really don't think the top pair flatters your face whereas the second pair certainly do. But that's why they're wanting £200 for them I suppose. Also, am thinking tortoiseshell colours will favour your coulouring better than stark black. Top ones are a bit hipster-lite, bottom ones more classic. And the pair you linked to that K doesn't like, I think could look quite nice on you. And agree with everything your eyebrow friend says about the shape.
