Heh, you're not the only one. As soon as I saw martinoh do his list with the inclusion of Bagpuss and wonderful cheeseboard I regretted I went into mine with such haste.
I had no option but to include Bagpuss - that saggy old cloth cat (baggy and a bit loose at the seams) has been as much a role model to me in my adult life as has Wally from Dilbert. Sleep, stir briefly, ponder on something, let other people do the work involved in fixing it, pronounce it good and resume slumbering. Although admittedly Bagpuss was held in affection for this, which is where the similarity fails...
And if your list was indeed hastily compiled, then it still presents an image of a cultured, imaginative individual, a feat beyond any list that I might compile however much time I was to take over it :-)
Now there's a work ethic I can admire! (Bagpuss if not necessarily Wally.) I do think it shows imagination to be inspired by such a lovable and relaxed character. :)
If only mice were as trainable as they appeared to be in the matter of chocolate digestive biscuits though.
