you know when you're talking to someone, and you're having a hard time getting them to open up and answer questions about stuff, then suddenly you hit on *the* topic of conversation, the one at which they light up and open up and get really animated about?

what's yours? If you and I were talking, what would your favourite subject be?

Photography, or books. Or films. Err, coffee. My kids.

Gah, I could talk for *days* about them. I have to try really really hard not to, when in company with people who don't have/don't like kids.
