screen resolution dodgy - it's a widescreen laptop and the text is very blurry - changed to 1024x768 and it's better but text is huuuuge

This was always my problem with linux in the past, getting the damn thing online.

Date: 2009-02-03 08:39 pm (UTC)the graphics thing is annoying me - I've got the proper linux drivers from nvidia, and the instructions just said
type 'sh NVIDIA[gubbins]'
worked out I needed a terminal open, and eventually worked out I actually needed 'sudo sh NVIDIA[gubbins]', but it fell over every damn time muttering something about being unable to build a kernel.
