potential specs: part II

ok, went back to Specsavers again today and tried on some more frames, this time with the assistance of the helpeful assistant.

First up, some Quiksilver frames. Straight-armed at the sides


Then, some Jasper Conran ones


and finally, some ultra-lightweight titanium specs


I can get two pairs, either from this range or from the ones I put up yesterday (assuming I can get the extra free pair from a cheaper range, and just pay for the most expensive).

Still love the Calvin Klein ones, but they're like Marmite - people either go 'oh, YES!' or 'dear god, what were you thinking?'

I like the Quiksilver ones by far the best.

The angular, black framed ones, like yesterday's pairs, make you look like an accountant turned serial killer. And not in a good way.

ack! buying glasses is a nightmare. Everyone's opinion is different (why am I surprised) and half the stuff I like everyone else doesn't, and half the stuff everyone else likes, I'm not sure about.

I think I'll just give up the computer, reading, and spend my days staring into the middle distance.
